🌍Saiko, A Taste Seeker Across the Globe

I’m Saiko, the heart behind this travel and food blog. It all began with the sea licking at my ankles in Cassis, France—a moment so vivid, so full of flavor, that I knew I had to capture these experiences and share them with fellow flavor-seekers like you.

Whether I’m wading through turquoise waters, wandering cobbled backstreets, or pausing to admire blooms that spill over stone walls, I’m guided by curiosity. I ask strangers what they eat for breakfast. I peek into kitchens, markets, and tucked-away cafés. flavors are a way to understand a place deeply—and to remember it fully.

🌊 In Cassis, France

Cassis is sunlight and salt, soft laughter from café terraces, and markets that smell like thyme and stonefruit. Here, I learned to slow down. To appreciate a plate of grilled sardines like it’s poetry. To eat with my hands, my eyes, and all my senses.

🌸 In Kotor, Montenegro

Kotor is a maze of ancient stones, where potted hydrangeas bloom brighter than the flags hanging above alleyways. One morning, a woman selling figs gave me her secret for a no-fuss jam. We didn’t speak the same language—but food bridged the gap.

Why I Created This Space

This isn’t just a food blog. It’s my open journal of travel, taste, and the quiet moments in between. Every recipe I share is tied to a memory—humble, heart-filled, and often unexpected. My kitchen reflects the road: simple, spontaneous, and always looking for wonder.

If you love discovering new cultures through flavors, or if you crave that feeling of arriving in a new place and wondering what’s for lunch—you’re home.
